Cross-posted from BGG but hopefully I can get official clarification here.
This is a question about the second part of Denhom’s personal quest and its interaction with a particular Exploration card. In our game, Denhom has picked up a card with the Fugitive keyword. Later, we chanced upon a woman from The Chain (Sabell?) who would usually tell us some random information about the world. However, if we have a Fugitive card, she instead provides more information useful for Denhom’s quest. So far so good. The problem is, we met her again, re-reading the same section of the Dialogue book and were instructed to read about the Fugitive once more, with no option to hear about anything else. Is it intentional that having a Fugitive card locks you out of all other information Sabell could provide (from that particular section of the Dialogue book)? Non-spoiler summary: having a particular card in your possession currently prevents you from learning more about the world due to the way the Dialogue book instructions are written. Is that intentional or should we be able to read both sections? |
