We encountered a rules question that I did not know how to handle in a recent playthrough.
We have a card in hand (Motivated) that lets you draw 2 less cards but is powered by symbols (Flags).
So here's the question, lets say I encounter a test that REQUIRES me to draw 5 cards.
I want to use Motivated to draw 2 less. But until I start drawing cards and revealing cards I don't know if I will get any flags to power this skill (Motivated).
So how should we interpret this? Do we say that you can't even TRY to use it if you dont have the symbols before you start drawing? Or do we say that I could TRY drawing 2 less cards and hope I get the symbols, and if not I am forced to draw 2 more? Or?
